Job Description
Ground network operations agents support the execution of the Ground network services by managing daily truck operations and managing the Ground network services shipments through the network.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
Track and Trace Transcon, Air, and Ocean Files moving in GNS network and report irregularities to parties involved
Use Transcon Workflow and GNS Workflow on a daily basis
Optimizing route planning and truck utilization
Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing
Prepare paperwork for the transfer of freight within the network including load manifests and bills of lading
Interact with our customers (internal and external) in arranging their GNS shipments, meeting customer service standards.
Contribute to and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
Ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs
Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees
Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations
Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings
Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations

Expeditors’ Company Policies and Procedures
Basic local regulatory knowledge for compliance
Global Logistics Industry knowledge
Hazardous materials certification (preferred)

Pro-active, strong organizational skills
Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
Fluent in English
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
Positive and willing to help attitude

MBO level 4 ór 6 months to 1 year related logistic experience
Experience in warehousing or freight terminal experience, preferred
Experience with Expeditors'operating systems and MS Windows office suite
Open to work during the nightshift, weekend shift and on National Holidays
