Role Summary
This function Actively shapes Digitalization of Magna Electronics' Business Processes with focus on engineering. Key responsibility is to envision, architect, manage and drive continuous improvement the global digital tools landscape to efficiently support development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for autonomous driving.
The position is based in Sailauf, Germany or Munich, Germany Main

Responsibilities Toolchain Optimization:
Ensure business needs and requirements are addressed holistically by digital toolchain
Proactively identify strategic and operational areas for business improvements by digital tools.
Develop digital toolchain road maps to align technology solutions with current and future business operations and strategies considering relevant trends and needs, eg DevOps, Agile…
Define and drive necessary consolidation of redundant digital tools and legacy applications
Identify and specify necessary internal and external integration points for the digital toolchain
Initiate and drive initiatives to execute roadmap and continuously improve the digital toolchain
Ensure the organization properly utilizes digital tools and follows required processes
Conduct analysis and reviews to estimate and assess business value of initiatives

Digital Portfolio Management:
Manage portfolio and lifecycle of digital tool licenses with focus on total cost optimization
Develop and introduce principles and models for Enterprise Architecture Management with focus on digital tools to efficiently manage portfolio and interdependencies between IT and business
Ensure all relevant information on digital tools is properly captured and maintained
Define, review and report key metrics of the digital tool portfolio for engineering Further information
Employee Management and collaboration
Directly manage / lead a team of Specialists Tool Portfolio Management, responsibilities include recruiting, training, reward and disciplinary actions and performance appraisals of employee
Grow the team as needed by demonstrating business value and convincing Senior Leadership
Define and improves processes and mechanisms for efficient digital tool portfolio management
Establish close collaboration with Information Technology, Controlling, Procurement and Engineering Departments Key Qualifications / Central Requirements
Regular Interaction with Suppliers / Vendors of digital tools with focus on identification and realization of levers for improvements and cost optimization
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
7+ years' relevant working experience regarding the Responsibility / Activities listed above
Advanced knowledge of Engineering Toolchain for ADAS development
Advanced knowledge of program management for digital tool implementation
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Management
Advanced knowledge of Digital Tools portfolio management
Advanced knowledge of license types and models for digital tools
Advanced knowledge of cost modeling and optimization, preferably for Licenses
Advanced knowledge of budget planning and management
Advanced knowledge of relevant IT frameworks (eg ITIL)
Fluent in English (speak and write)
Fluent in German (speak and write)
